The important boundary
An unmatched tap is not shown to the other person.
It stops being matchable after 20 minutes. Crossed never presents silence as evidence, a response score, or a question the other person has to answer.

Before you invite someone.
What does the other person see?
Each tap stays private. When two taps form a mutual Crossing, the app shows only the shared moment: an approximate time of day, without the exact tap time or who went first.
When does the evening reveal happen?
At 21:00 in the connection’s fixed timezone. If a match completes after nine, it waits until the following evening.
What does Live Crossings add?
Live is available as soon as the connection is active. Each person chooses independently, and it begins only when both choices are on. At most the day’s first mutual Crossing may send one neutral notice after a randomized 25–45 minute delay.
Can either person leave?
Either person can close the connection for both. After an ordinary end, both may connect again, while each person’s already revealed calendar entries remain only until their original 30-day expiry.
