A Crossing holds one shared moment. Care is bigger than any app, and real life shapes when people open Crossed, tap, or choose to take part.
Safety principles
Care stays unscored
Crossed leaves out response speed, streaks, missed-day penalties, and comparisons between the two of you.
Participation stays voluntary
Either person can end or block the connection. Account deletion also closes the active connection for both.
Live Crossings
A quiet note, when you both choose it.
Live is available as soon as the connection is active. Each person chooses independently. When both current choices are on, Crossed says Live is on for both.
Only the first mutual Crossing of the connection day is eligible for a neutral notice, randomly delayed by 25–45 minutes. Delivery is best effort rather than real-time.
The notice confirms that a mutual moment happened. If you made only one recent Cross, you may connect it with that moment, so choose Live only if that feels comfortable.

Your controls
Clear choices when things change.
Either person can change course independently. Crossed closes the active connection for both, while each person keeps only their own already revealed memories until they expire.
End connection
Closes the connection for both and clears its active, unreleased state. Each person keeps their own released calendar entries until their original 30-day expiry, and both may connect again.
Block the account
Closes the connection for both and prevents those accounts from reconnecting. The other person is not told that a block occurred, and the current product has no unblock control.
Delete your account
Deleting removes your account and retained data, and closes the connection for both. The other person keeps only their own previously released calendar copies until expiry.
